Where would you say your inspiration comes from? Your music is a constant inspiration to me... the lyrics... the sounds... everything. It's incredible.
It comes from everything. I try to pay attention to the full range of human experience, admittedly been more fixated on the trenches of grief in the last few years than the full spectrum. Best song writing advice I was ever given.... "pay attention"
Cheers. Thanks for listening.
I'm studying songwriting and music business at University of Colorado, Denver. I stumbled upon your music not too long ago, and I just had to let you know that its safe to say that it has made me feel things that no other artist has had the ability to make me feel before. So inspired by your artistry in its entirety.
Can I ask, who are your biggest musical influences personally?
Also, Should you ever find yourself in the midwest around the Denver area, ill be there for sure. Have plans to come out here anytime in the near future??
Thanks for giving us the honor of hearing your music. All the best.
I was listening to Hallway Hymn and the last line of the song "if were all being used then whats the point of still" is played without any supporting instruments, but then the last word "Believing" has a light guitar strum. Is this a representation of an ever dwindling of faith, but perhaps still a tiny belief represented by the guitar or just maybe a stylistic sound choice or am I completely off. This is clearly a very emotional song for you with very deep lyrics and do not want to pry to deep. I was just intrigued by the structure of the last line.
